The service
MetadataRemover.cc provides browser-based inspection and removal of supported file-container metadata and hidden Unicode characters, plus an optional free account that raises the daily operation allowance. There is no paid plan.
Your responsibilities
Only process files you created or have permission to modify. Do not use this service for the prohibited purposes listed on the responsible-use page. You remain responsible for any attribution, disclosure or labelling requirements that apply to your use.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. File formats vary, and a container that does not match its specification may not be parsed as expected. Keep your original file; the tool always produces a copy and never overwrites the source.
Nothing here is a guarantee that a given mark will be found or removed, or that a platform will treat a cleaned file in any particular way.
Accounts
You may delete your account at any time from the account menu, which removes your credentials, sessions and allowance records. We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the service.
Open-source components
The inspection engine is derived from the MIT-licensed unmark-web and watermarks-remover projects and their copyright notices are preserved in the repository. MetadataRemover.cc is an independent product and is not affiliated with either project.
