Files you own
Use MetadataRemover.cc on content you created or have the right to modify. Removing your own camera's GPS coordinates, your editing history or your prompt text before sharing is an ordinary and reasonable privacy step.
Where this stops being reasonable
Do not use it to strip attribution or provenance from someone else's work, to misrepresent generated content as a photograph in a context where that matters, or to evade a disclosure obligation that applies to you.
Some jurisdictions regulate the labelling of synthetic media and restrict removing, altering or concealing those labels. Where such rules apply, they apply to you regardless of which tool produced the file.
What this product refuses to be
There is no detector-bypass feature, no humanizer, no visible-watermark removal and no claim that cleaning makes anything undetectable. Those are not omissions to be added later; they are the boundary of the product.
Platform rules still apply
Every platform sets its own disclosure requirements. Cleaning a file does not exempt you from them, and it does not change a label that a platform has already applied.
